Inventory module
Allows for assigning a responsible person to each item of office equipment and tracking what repairs/replacements have taken place.
Categories
There is a long list of predefined categories (printer, telephone, scanner, laptop, server, tablet, photo camera, etc.) and some of them have specific attributes - e.g. a printer can be color/monochrome, paper sise can be A4/A3, and may have wired/wireless network port or allow double-sided printing.
Tracking Repairs
For each item the supplier, serial number, date of purchase, guarantee term are recorded. For each repair/replacement the relevant documents are scanned and attached.
Hand-over Protocols
For each piece of equipment a history is maintained of who is currently responsible (in possession) - every change is accompanied by a protocol proving the hand-over.
